
Russian for Russian Speakers: A new course in Russian Literacy for High School Students is offered to teenagers who speak Russian at home and want to learn to read, write, and develop their literacy. The textbook for the class has been written specifically for Russian speakers in the United States, and will include interactive Web-based exercises, readings in 19th and 20th century Russian literary classics, viewing and discussion of Russian films, and lectures on Russian culture.
The course will meet for six weeks during summer session A. Students who complete the class will earn five UCLA credits. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding this program.
