Scholarship Support for UCLA Summer Language Intensives

A limited number of scholarships are available to qualified undergraduate and graduate students, and qualified California high school students interested in the intensive study of one of the following languages:

Awards will be made based on the student's financial need, academic ability, and relevance to their future course of study.

How to Apply
UCLA undergraduate and graduate students should complete the application below and then enroll in their chosen course of study via URSA.
All other students should enroll through this link

Important Dates:
Applications for summer language intensive study support will be accepted until May 15, 2008.
Award announcements will be made via e-mail to students by May 30 . Students will be asked to confirm acceptance of the award via e-mail by June 12.

Scholarship Award Cancellation Policy

Students who are awarded a scholarship for summer language study at UCLA, but are unable to attend must notify the Center for World Languages in writing (by e-mail, fax, or via regular mail) prior to commencement of the program. If the student notifies UCLA Center for World Languages by noon of the business day prior to commencement of the program, the student will not be responsible for paying the program tuition or other fees associated with the program. However, if the student begins the program but subsequently leaves for any reason other than a personal emergency before its completion, the student will be required to repay the awarded scholarship and any other associated costs to UCLA.
