Residential Options

Housing for Undergraduate Students

Undergraduate students, and other non UC (non high school) students attending Jumpstart: Architecture, Labor Summer Internship Program, or any other six-week summer institute should enroll in housing directly through the UCLA Housing office. View a listing of summer options and rates here.

Undergraduate students and other non UC (non high school) students enrolling into the Entrepreneurship, Entertainment and Media Management, and Sports Entertainment and Media Management programs have the option of selecting a four-week housing plan directly on the Institutes registration form. Please consult each program's housing page for more details. Residential students will be housed in Hedrick Hall, on the west side of the UCLA campus. Click here to view a full campus map.

Housing for High School Students

High school students enrolling into six-week college level classes, Acting and Performance, Russian for Russian Speakers, and Persian for Persian Speakers have options based on their age level:

If a student is 16 years or older, a housing contract may be purchased through UCLA Housing. However, please be advised that these accommodations are not supervised and the student will be treated as a university student.

If the student is under the age of 16, s/he is not eligible to purchase a housing contract with UCLA Housing, but has the option to participate through the Summer Discovery Program. This is a fully supervised program providing evening and weekend activities during a student's course of study at UCLA.

High school students enrolling into short-term (one-week or two-week) institutes have the option to participate in a fully supervised residential experience complete with fun and enriching evening and weekend activities. Please consult each program's housing page for more details. Housing can be reserved directly through the Institutes registration form.

Summer 2008 residential students will be housed in Hedrick Hall, on the west side of the UCLA campus. Click here to view a full campus map.
