"Learning about the Chinese language and culture in Shanghai this past summer is one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had. I came into the program without any expectations but to learn some practical Chinese, but came out of the program with so much more. In addition to learning useful business language, I was able to gain an insight into different aspects of China, the financial development aspect, the ever changing environment, how the Chinese view laws and hardships that the farmers face. The professors at Jiao Tong University were knowledgable in their field and encouraged class discussion. The work load was just enough to learn and have time to actually see the city for yourself.
