You are responsible for making your own travel arrangements to Shanghai.

Since many airlines have cut back the number of flights they offer, please make your flight arrangements as early as possible to ensure availability. If you wish to coordinate your flight with other students on the program, please use the program listserver to share flight plans.

You must obtain a 60-day TOURIST visa from the Chinese Consulate prior to departure (please be sure to specify a 60-day Tourist visa). To apply for a visa, you will need a passport valid for at least 6 months from the time you will enter China, 1 passport size photo, your flight ticket or official itinerary (printed by the airline or travel agency), and a completed visa application. For more information about visas, please visit http://losangeles.china-consulate.org/eng/.

A welcome packet, including information on how to get to campus housing will be mailed to all students.
