
Peter Tokofsky is an associate adjunct professor in the Department of Germanic Languages and the Department of World Arts and Cultures at UCLA, and an education specialist at the J. Paul Getty Museum. His research and teaching focus on European cultural history from 1800 to the present. He specializes in ethnographic study of popular traditions, such as festivals and public performances. Dr. Tokofsky has extensive professional experience working in and consulting with art and culture museums, focusing on how displays present knowledge to the public.
