You are responsible for making your own travel arrangements to Shanghai.

You must obtain a 60-day TOURIST visa from the Chinese Consulate prior to departure (please be sure to specify a 60-day Tourist visa). To apply for a visa, you will need a passport valid for at least 6 months from the time you will enter China, 2 passport size photos, your flight ticket or official itinerary (printed by the airline or travel agency), and a completed visa application. A welcome packet, including information on how to get to campus housing will be mailed to all students.
