Curriculum

This program carries quarter units of UC credit.

Students will be automatically enrolled in two upper division management classes (MGMT 180 and MGMT 128) totaling 8 units. The Institute experience combines class sessions taught by UCLA faculty, lectures and workshops by experts in the field, and off-campus field trips to relevant sites in Los Angeles. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in a variety of advanced workshops designed to improve student skills in Excel, accounting, and others, as well as hearing from a variety of successful entrepreneurs telling their fascinating and inspirational stories.

Excursions

Students enrolled in the Institute will supplement their classroom learning through off-campus visits to sites relevant to the topic of the Entrepreneurship Institute. The exact dates and trip itineraries will be announced at the first meeting of the program.
