Entrepreneurship Overview

The UCLA Anderson School of Management Summer Entrepreneurship Institute focuses on the development and management of business ventures. The Institute will provide students with an overview of the legal, tax, management, marketing and financial aspects of owning, operating and/or managing business. The program also emphasizes the development of new business ventures including fundraising, business plans, financing and entity structure.

The institute will provide a multi-disciplinary approach, featuring faculty from various fields of study within the UCLA Anderson School of Management, including its well-known Harold Price Center for Entrepreneurial Studies. Special industry topics include the high technology and real estate sectors. The program is taught by award-winning Anderson faculty members, and offers a variety of advanced workshops designated to improve student skills in Power Point presentations, business communications, Excel spreadsheets and accounting. Field trips to local businesses and government agencies supplement the in-class learning experience.

This program is open to undergraduate students and to those holding an undergraduate degree.
