UCLA Financial Aid Students
Financial aid is available to qualified UCLA students. If you plan to enroll in a UCLA Summer Institute, the deadline to submit the UCLA Summer Institutes Financial Aid Application is June 1. The application is accessible online beginning April 1 through the UCLA Financial Aid Office. Once you have submitted the application, contact the Summer Sessions Office via e-mail to review your payment deadline options.
Please note that ALL students applying for financial aid assume full responsibility for all program fees. Any decision to cancel your participation in a program must be made by June 1. Failure to do so will result in a charge for the full program fee. If extenuating circumstances cause you to cancel your participation after June 1, please contact the Summer Sessions Office immediately.
For the following courses, you do not need to use the UCLA Summer Institutes Financial Aid Application and instead can use the regular Summer Sessions Financial Aid Application:
- Brain-Mind-Wellness Summer Institute
- Labor Summer Research Internship Program
- Social Innovation Research Program
- Summer Institute in Creative Writing
- Summer Institute in International Development
- Teaching English as a Second / Foreign Language (TESL / TEFL)
Visiting Students
Visiting students should consult their home institution about financial aid. Visiting students that are unable to meet the May 1 payment deadline for financial aid reasons, must submit a signed Summer Institutes Financial Aid Agreement for Non-UCLA Students along with supporting documentation to the Summer Sessions Office by May 31 to avoid being dropped for non-payment.Please note that ALL students applying for financial aid assume full responsibility for all program fees. Any decision to cancel your participation in a program must be made by June 1. Failure to do so will result in a charge for the full program fee. If extenuating circumstances cause you to cancel your participation after June 1, please contact the Summer Sessions Office immediately.
