Curriculum
Students will be automatically enrolled in Music C175 (Chamber Music).Program Layout
The program commences with a student orientation on Saturday evening. Students will then be fully immersed in daily music instruction, practice, and social activities. A typical day begins with practice at 8:00am. Specialized seminars, Coaching, and Master classes take place throughout the day, and evenings are spent engaged in social activities that usually end by 9:00pm. On Sunday, the program concludes with a culminating performance in the afternoon. Families and friends are invited to attend!
Excursions
Cultural opportunities and activities are an integral aspect of the program. In addition to numerous campus-based activities, students have the opportunity to explore the dynamic City of Angels through visits to the Hollywood Bowl, the Getty Center and Santa Monica Beach.
Grades
Program participants will earn two units of UCLA academic course credit using the Pass/No Pass grading system. Letter grades are not awarded for this program.
