Payment

In order to secure your spot, a $100 nonrefundable deposit is due when your application is approved by the department faculty (within 2 weeks of registration). Once approved, you will receive e-mail notification instructing you how to make your program deposit. You may pay by credit or debit card using our secure online credit card form. Your $100 deposit is not refundable.

If you are waitlisted for a program, your payment will not be due until your application is moved from the waitlist. You will be notified by e-mail with payment instructions.

Final payments should be made via URSA, UCLA's online records system. To access this system you will need to establish a Logon ID and password using your UCLA Identification Number (UID). Look for the link on the URSA homepage. If you are new to UCLA, a UID will be assigned and sent to you via e-mail after the deposit has been paid.

Final payment of your program balance is due May 1, 2008.

Financial Aid

Summer Scholar Program for California High School Students

A limited number of full and partial scholarships are available to qualified California high school students for summer study at UCLA. Click here for more information.

Textbooks/Materials

Music will be distributed to students before the start of the program. With the exception of piano players, students must bring their own instruments to the program. Instruments will be housed in assigned storage lockers at the School of Music. Students should also bring with them one or two solo pieces that they are currently working on.
