Christiane Meyer, adjunct professor of Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology. She started her training as a biologist in Germany and received a Ph.D in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Princeton University. She moved to Los Angeles in 2006, where she is now a faculty member in the department of Molecular, Cell and Developmental Biology. Dr. Meyer is particularly interested in topics that touch on the interplay between biology and society and she is currently teaching HIV/AIDS & other STDs as well as Stem Cell Biology, Politics and Ethics.
