UCLA Department of Architecture and Urban Design is offering a series of workshops for beginning, intermediate, and advanced designers in four different sessions. These workshops are ideal for designers who want to further develop their skills in architecture and other related fields as well as those who have only recently been exposed to studio experiences. Access to UCLA’s well-known digital and fabrication facilities and instruction through rigorous and effective teaching techniques make these workshops both unique and rare. They will cover topics in marketing, advanced software, portfolio preparation and fabrication machinery that is essential for materializing the complex forms found in many digital projects.
Workshops are available in Maya; Rhinoceros and Grasshopper; Digital Modeling and Representation; Portfolio building; and Digital Fabrication as well as two-day theory seminars.
The workshops are ideal for undergraduate students, incoming and current graduate students, and working professionals. Please note that the workshops are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met.
