The UCLA Anderson School of Management Summer Institute in Sports Marketing & Management focuses on the marketing and management of sports enterprises. The Institute will provide students with an overview of the legal, management, marketing and financial aspects of managing a sports enterprise. Special industry topics include the sports media, leadership, global branding, management and representation.
Taking a multi-disciplinary approach, the Institute gives students a one-of-a-kind opportunity to study the changing global landscape of sports entertainment, marketing and management, while also undertaking a high-profile, team-based “internship” projects for a major sports enterprise. The summer program features faculty from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, including its well-known Entertainment & Media Management Institute -- the preeminent center for thought leadership and management education in the global entertainment, media and sports industries.

Students will learn to think and act like seasoned leaders in the sports business, understanding the complexities of on the field and off the field, contemporary sports issues and maintaining the aptitude to navigate industry challenges with maximum effectiveness. The Institute is a significant complement to any liberal arts or technical education.
