The United States Department of Homeland Security requires full-time international students (those enrolled in 8 or more units) to obtain an F-1 visa.
International students on a F-1 Student Visa are required
to purchase a health insurance policy through UCLA for $345.
Payment
In order to secure your spot, a nonrefundable deposit is due upon completion of your application for the program.
If you are waitlisted for a program, your payment is not due until your application is moved from the wait list. You will be notified by e-mail with payment instructions.
Final payments should be made via URSA, UCLA's online records system. To access this system you will need to establish a Logon ID and password using your UCLA Identification Number (UID). If you are new to UCLA, a UID will be assigned and sent to you via e-mail after the nonrefundable program deposit has been paid.
Final payment of your program balance is due May 1. After May 1, full fees are collected at the time of registration. There are no refunds after June 1.
