Analyze European politics from London to Brussels, Amsterdam,
and Paris. In Session I, examine the individual systems of government in Britain,
the Netherlands and France and the role played by these countries in world politics.
In Session II, learn about how thinkers from these countries conceived politics
through buildings and built environment and study the evolution over time of political institutions and identities in Britain, the Netherlands, and France, including the emergence of the key transnational communities NATO and the European Union. Both sessions include visits to such governmental agencies as NATO
and the Dutch Parliament as well as other group activities.
