Summer 2009

Spanish-Mexico Overview

Spend a summer month in one of the most beautiful cities in Mexico, while earning university credit and improving your Spanish language skills. You will have the opportunity to admire the splendid religious and civic architecture of its centuries-old centro histórico. You will delight in the elegance of Porfirian mansions, the Baroque art of churches and chapels, and the magnificence of old college, library, and museum buildings. You will relish the liveliness of the Artists' Quarter, the nearby handicraft market of El Parián, and the many alfresco cafes around the zócalo. On weekends, you will visit the impressive archeological sites of Cholula and Teotihuacán, as well as Oaxaca.
